Lush greenery and seasonal blooms
The homeowners, recent retirees, sought a pool solution that would cater to family gatherings and provide a safe, inviting space for hosting friends and loved ones. The Pinnacle 35 in Sapphire Blue was the ideal choice, meeting all their needs for both functionality and aesthetics.
The property posed some challenges, particularly a large UTRCA easement that divided the backyard. After determining the best placement for the pool within this constrained area, the design focused on creating seamless gathering spaces. A storage shed, cleverly designed to function as a bar, was added to enhance the entertainment aspect.
Given the existing steep grade of the land, the goal was to minimize the number of steps leading down to the pool area. By raising the pool to a higher elevation, it not only became a central feature of the space but also remained visible from inside the home. Natural stone steps and retaining walls were used to gently transition the space and blend it into the landscape.
The homeowners’ careful attention to their garden brought lush greenery and seasonal blooms into the design, attracting pollinators and enriching the space with wildlife. The choice of simple paving materials allows the pool and pool house to take center stage, creating a visually striking yet harmonious environment for entertaining and relaxation.
